November 2022:  Funeral Services for Retired Chief Hughes

Funeral services were held November 3rd, 2022, for Brad L. Hughes, age 51, at St John Vianney Catholic Church and Calvary Cemetery in Fairmont. Brad served as Chief of Police from Dec 1st 1998 to June 7th 2022. He will be missed. 

October 2022:  Trunk or Treat in Welcome

During this year's event, we had Sherburn / Welcome PD, and lots of volunteers with decorated car trunks hand out candy to all the area kids! We had a huge turnout and appreciate everyone who came out! 

June 2022:  Law Enforcement Day at MCW Elementary

During this year's event, we had Sherburn / Welcome PD, Trimont PD, Fairmont PD, and Martin County Sheriff's Officer in attendance. Along with O'Scoop's Ice Cream!

This is the 11th year that we have hosted this event at the school.  The students and staff both enjoy the event, as well as the officers.
